Restaurants in Varadero

There are a number of restaurants in Havana and Varadero; the following would be two of our favorite restaurants. Also, many of the all inclusive 5* hotels have some excellent a la carte restaurants.

Gaviota Marina Restaurant

Located at the end of the peninsula. This recently opened restaurant, overlooking the sea, is where you can select your own fresh lobster and enjoy some other excellent cuisine such as scallops and steaks. The artistic décor was designed by a famous Cuban artist.

Xanadu Mansion (DuPont Villa) Restaurant

Located next to the Golf Course in Varadero, this lovely building was built in 1929 by the DuPont de Nemour family. Following the Cuban revolution, it is now used as a restaurant, as well as housing very few rooms as a hotel. It makes for a stunning setting to have a drink or organize a meal for your group overlooking the ocean view and the sweeping garden.
